Capt. Jim Sharpe Jr. carries a United States Coast Guard Captain’s License
and has logged more than 34 years of experience in the Florida Straights and
Gulf Stream. Our Conch 27-foot center council light tackle boat, Third Generation
specializes in all types of Offshore and back country fishing charters. We
fish for snapper, grouper, mackerel, cobia, tarpon, wahoo, tuna, sail, marlin,
swordfish and sharks depending on what our anglers want to catch and which
species are available. Whether you are entertaining Corporate Cliental or enjoying
a nice day on the water with family and friends you can count on friendly,
courteous and professional treatment at Third Generation charters. Our
equipment is the best from 12 lb. and 20 lb. spin to 20 lb., 30 lb., or 50
lb. trolling gear. Fishing techniques change with the feeding habits of our
game fish, drifting or kite fishing live baits during some seasons or trolling
with dead bait or lures during others. Sight casting baits to tailing cobia,
sailfish or dolphin with spinning tackle or fly rods is certainly one of our
most exciting methods, but must match the season.

A check or money order for the $150.00 deposit made out to Jim Sharpe is
required to confirm your charter and can be mailed to Third Generation Charters
P.O. Box 431383 Big Pine Key, Fl. 33043. If we do not receive and confirm your
deposit by phone and or E-mail, your reservation will not be held.
Charter Rates for 1-4 persons
Full day charter (8-hours) $ 850.00
¾ day (6-hours) $ 700.00
½ day (4-hours) $ 600.00
5-6 person rates
Full Day (8 hours) $ 950.00
¾ Day (6 hours) $ 775.00
½ Day (4 hours) $ 650.00
Swordfish trips are 8 hours for 1-4 persons only $ 1200.00
Gulf wreck trips fuel cost are a separate charge. Call for info.
Whale watching/fishing Trips
(late April thru Aug.) trips are 8 to 9 hours for 1-4 persons $1400.00
* 5-6 person $1500.00
*Depending on rising fuel prices it is possible that a fuel surcharge may
be required.

$150 deposit per day in the form of a check made out to Jim Sharpe is due upon
booking your trip. If your deposit does not arrive your trip is not held. You
will receive a phone call/ e-mail to confirm your trip.
If the captain calls the day for any reason you will receive a full refund
of your deposit. You must cancel your trip at least seven days prior to the
date of your reservation to get a full refund. No shows will be charged full
price.
What type of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Checks or cash. You will need to send a $150 check
made out to Jim Sharpe for your deposit to hold the day you would like to
fish. Make checks payable to Third Generation Charters.
What do you need to bring?
All you need is your food and drink for the day. Sun block, a hat, light jacket,
a good pair of polarized sunglass and a reservation. We supply a cooler for
your food and drink, tackle, bait, ice and fishing licenses for everyone onboard.
No glass bottles please.
